Really nice serum for sensitives kin
I bought this product a month ago, but I can tell that works really nice to my sensitive skin.I have not notice any redness after use
Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum is enriched with naturally-derived calming & moisturizing ingredients. It contains 76.49% green tea leaf water and 2% Panthenol.
The lightweight serum enriched with traditional Korean herbal medicine ingredients (‘hanbang’) targets redness and sensitivity. Green tea, rich in antioxidants, helps reduce sebum and oil production. In addition, it soothes and evens skin tone. The main component of green tea, EGCG (catechin), is composed of tannins and polyphenols. It is known to effectively improve skin damaged by UV rays. UV rays are the main cause of skin darkening and stimulate aging.
Catechin suppresses the synthesis of the melanin pigment caused by UV rays and removes free radicals that promote ageing, thereby helping to keep skin clearer. Green tea contains a large amount of vitamin C, 5-8 times more than lemon, which is a core component needed to make skin bright.
On top of that, panthenol helps keep skin smooth and supple, while Centella Asiatica calms.
Other ingredients and their properties:
- calming & soothing: Artemisia vulgaris extract, Centella Asiatica extract
- moisturizing & hydrating: Glycerin, Sodium hyaluronate, Propolis extract Best for oily, normal and combination skin types.
With a pH of 6.6, this serum is formulated without artificial fragrances, parabens, sulfates, artificial color, alcohol, silicone, mineral oil and essential oils.

So far so good, my skin is usually quite sensitive and this really helps to calm it after I have exfoliated. Great product, would recommend.
When my sensitive skin was red & irritated this serum calmed my redness & irritation. Must be the green tea & mugwort in it,my skin loves both of these ingredients.Thanks Skinsider!
I had skin irritation from another product. It did help to reduce redness and healed my skin faster. Also reduced redness around my nose which made me very happy. Great product.
