I used this mostly as a hydrator in my routine. I have dehydrated and acne-prone skin so this gel wasn't enough to moisturise but it proved to be a fantastic hydrator. To get the full effect, use this gel before applying any product with hyaluronic acid ingredients. Applying the product this way helps ensure that your face stays plump and hydrated. Perfect for dehydrated skin. However, for a soothing aloe gel, I found that it greatly stings on application on irritated skin. Just keep that in mind if you have a compromised skin barrier, if you've picked at your skin recently, or if you have any wounds on your skin.
A calming and soothing gel great for oily/combination skin prone to break outs. It contains 80% Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water which is antimicrobial and promotes wound healing. I've repurchased this a few times and it's become a staple in my routine!
This is the best way to finish off a multi step face care routine. I have super sensitive skin as well, including rosacea, and this has never made me break out or get inflamed. It is basically all aloe vera, so it feels cool and calming when you put it on. My boyfriend has EXTREMELY DRY skin and this works amazingly for him as well. Super moisturizing to the max, but also light and cooling.
