Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (Berry)

I used to just use vaseline on my lips before bed but would often wake up to all the vaseline fully absorbed into my lips and gone. I didn't want to believe the hype on this but thought I'd give it a go and it's incredible. There's a lot in the pot and it's thick and hydrating when applied to the lips (can barely talk after putting it on though haha). In the morning it still keeps that occlusive layer locking in all the moisture and I just wipe away the excess with a muslin cloth when cleansing my face in the morning. I don't use it every night but it's perfect to prep my lips for a special day.

After using this for a few weeks, I can say it doesn't do anything more for my winter chapped lips than just putting shea butter on them overnight. I've happily gone back to unscented shea butter. Won't buy this again. I have it on my desk to use as a thick winter lip balm instead, and it does feel moisturising (definitely doesn't feel exfoliating though). I was also slightly worried I'd lose the spatula, so I've cut the end of the handle off, so it can sit inside the inner lid.
