This lip mask leaves my lips feeling more dry and irritated than a lip balm. I don't really see the point in using it as a lip mask or as an overnight treatment, and I've tried both. It feels nice when you first apply it, but eventually leaves the lips feeling dry and tight. Will not buy this again.
This is hands down the best product I think I’ve ever bought. This has become a product for life, never will I use anything else for my lips!! If I could give it more stars I would.
Disclaimer: This is my own unbiased experience and honest opinion with the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Grapefruit. As a serial lip picker, this product is honestly a lifesaver. I've been using this product on and off over the course of the month and I don't get the overwhelming urge to pick the dry skin off of my lips anymore since they stay smooth. Don't forget to follow up with a lip balm after removing the mask though or else your lips will start to feel dry again and tight. > Pros: * Nice and mild grapefruit scent. Not irritating. * Mild grapefruit flavour. Not overpowering so whenever you accidentally lick your lips, the taste isn't so bad. * Great lip exfoliant. The first lip exfoliant I've ever used and it really helps keep my lips smooth and lively. > Cons: * I don't like having leftover residue just sitting on my applicator as it's not very hygienic so I always clean the applicator after use. Cleaning the applicator is a hassle though since the mask is stubborn and hard to remove from the applicator. * While it is hydrating, it's not hydrating to the point where I wouldn't need to use lip balm. I always follow up with a lip balm after removing the mask to ensure that my lips stay smooth and hydrated.
